Category Archives: Life Hi everyone! I’ve been super busy with work, business and school that I haven’t had time to update my blog, but then again, there hasn’t been much to update. So, I guess I’ll write about something boring… I cat sat for my brother this past week and she wouldn’t stop moving, so I only got…  My friend, Stephanie, put her glasses on Riley after we got home from our photo shoot… These are so cute. I call them, “Big Pimpin’!”  I recently had a homework assignment to do some portraits of a friend, but of course, I couldn’t just do your “say cheese” type of portraits. Check out these portraits I took of Stephanie. Stephanie is a good friend that I met last semester in my Art History I class. Jen Shannon Photography, Jacksonville, FL…  Last Saturday night, I had an excellent opportunity. I was asked to photograph the “That’s Amore! Pet Benefits Party” hosted by Love Your Pet in Chicago, http://www.loveyourpetservice.com. My husband and I had a great time doing photos for this event. There was live music by Marty Casey of the Lovehammers, The West Side Winders and…  Yesterday through today we had a bunch of snow in the first major snow of the season! I love snow and so does Riley. He’s my big mama’s boy! He pranced and played and ran around the backyard like a crazy dog. It was too cute! I love looking at the snow and watching it….  I decided to practice photographing my dogs outside in a natural setting. I had my middle child, Riley aka Bear, come and sit for me while I was taking a light meter reading off of his fur in order to properly expose the photo.
