First, if you don’t read anything but this first paragraph of this entry, let me say we had the best time ever! I love having great conversations, good laughs, beautiful scenery, and being surrounded by family. It doesn’t…  Needless to say I was STOKED after I did my week two installation of “Rock On Photographers” and featured Jules Bianchi when she direct messaged me on Twitter to tell me she was going to be in Chicago and wanted to meet up! Jules Bianchi is one of my favorite photographers, as I had mentioned…  Every year Colby and I buy a new Christmas ornament to add to our tree that is supposed to signify something special that happened during the year. Our first Christmas in 2006 we bought a “first married Christmas” ornament. The second year we bought a “new house” ornament. Last year we bought a “family” ornament…  Last night I had my egg nog chai latte from Starbucks in hand and was ready to get started. Our tradition is that we decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving, but unfortunately Colby had to work at his second job so he didn’t get to so we did last night. That’s right, Colby Shannon has made it one year closer to renting a car without paying an under 25 fee per day. Although I don’t have any great pictures, I do have an iPhone picture I took while at his birthday lunch… Today… “COLBY!!! WAKE UP!!!! IT’S 6AM AND YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT 10 MINUTES AGO TO CATCH YOUR TRAIN!!!! HONEY! HONEY WAKE THE HECK UP!!!!” That’s how the morning started. When Colby didn’t freak out, as is customary when he sleeps through his alarm, I knew it was all part of his plan. He’s so sneaky ;)… Ok, I wanted to write a big blog entry about how great our 3rd anniversary was, but, it is still going (I told Colby I had to take a few minutes to blog).
