A few weeks ago, I was super busy shooting the last of my sessions and weddings before starting maternity leave. I was booked literally every day of the last week I had before I started leave and, as is typical of April, mother nature decided to throw us some pretty nasty weather, but rain or shine, Ariane and Aaron were ready for their session in St. Augustine. Ariane and Aaron will be tying the knot in the Bahamas later this year and I am SO honored that they chose me to photograph such a beautiful and special time in their lives!

Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session. To view more, be sure to check out my Google+ page by clicking here! Happy Monday!

To say I’m a little behind on the blogging is an understatement. I would love to say that one of these days I will be caught up, but the reality of it is that I’m about to have baby #2 in July and I have no idea what it will be like with 2. I’m most definitely keeping up with my clients, emails, editing, etc, but my blogging is taking the hit, so please be patient with me while I try to get everything I’ve been shooting up on my blog!

I was incredibly excited to wake up to an email this morning saying that Denim + Grace released their 2014 POSEBOOK! A few months ago, they chose some of my work from Thomas and Vanessa’s wedding to be featured in it. I wish I had some spreads to share with you but I haven’t yet received them. In the mean time, you can pick up a digital or print copy of the POSEBOOK by clicking here!

I met with Charlie and Kayla, who booked me last year, and they painted a beautiful, romantic country wedding at The Country Knot here in Jacksonville. Although there were some set backs, their wedding was moved to October of this year and we did their engagement session at Walter Jones Historical Park. They both love to fish, they love the outdoors, and 4 wheeling. While we couldn’t do the 4 wheelers there at the park, we definitely had some great outdoor scenery and fishing! Here are a few of my favorites. To see more, check out their album on my google plus page by clicking here!

Happy Tuesday! Things have been really busy over here at JSP. More on this will be coming in the next month or so, but for now, please forgive my lack of blogging.

On another note, you may have read on my Facebook page about the changes to Facebook’s algorithms makes it nearly impossible to share my work with all of the people who have “liked” my page. Facebook seems to be moving in the direction of increasing their ad revenue, which there is nothing wrong with, but this does not allow me to share with the people who want to see my latest work through Facebook. With that said, I’ve decided to move over to using Google+ in place of my Facebook Like Page. I will be keeping my page on Facebook, but I will not be updating it much anymore.

Google+ is incredibly versatile and the layout is smooth and and clean. It also doesn’t interpolate pixels which means the compression won’t make my images look fuzzy or weird. Going forward, I will post a couple of my favorite images to my blog with a link to my Google+ album where you can view more images from events that I photograph.

Ok! Moving on and getting to Ashley and Greg’s beautiful wedding at River House St. Augustine! I love simple or simplistic weddings where there are some details but when you can tell the wedding is really about the couple and the things they love. Ashley and Greg’s wedding was no exception! Surrounded by their family and friends, they married on the Intracoastal Waterway front and celebrated into the night.

Big thanks to some of the amazing vendors who brought the day together!
